Welcome To Mifrakim Tzeirim
Mifrakim Tzeirim is a non-profit, patient-led community supporting children, youth, adults, and seniors living with autoimmune and inflammatory joint diseases – RMDs. The association was established in Haifa in 2010, our mission is to empower everyone affected by these conditions with information, camaraderie, and practical tools to live with strength and dignity
What we do
- Community & peer support– We organize online and in-person support groups, webinars, and patient meetups- guided by professional facilitators and fellow patients- to ensure that no one faces the journey alone.
- Reliable knowledge & resources– Through our website, newsletter, and social media, we deliver easy-to-understand, up-to-date medical information on treatments, medication availability, research updates, and patient rights in Israel and worldwide.
- Advocacy & awareness– We actively campaign for early diagnosis, better access to medications (including biologicals), and fair healthcare policies. We also train patients to engage with their doctors and decision-makers.
- Education & empowerment– We run workshops and courses- such as chronic disease management programs adapted from European models- to help patients navigate healthcare systems, make informed decisions, and reclaim control over their lives.
- Collaboration & research– We collaborate with global networks like AGORA, PARE, EULAR, and the Global RA Alliance- ensuring Israeli patients have a voice in international forums and clinical trials.
